So many of us want to make our own garden's, the economy is even creating new gardener's who want to try to save money by growing there own food. If your one of the new gardener's looking for tips or training, there are many places on the Internet that can help.
I'm thinking of a big garden with lots of tomatoe's and green beans for canning purpose's. Last year was not good on my garden at all. With all the record snow this winter, it may help with bad bug control. Plus all the snowfall has helped add moisture to needed areas that was drought stricken last year. I am just excited to be able to get back at it, growing more food for my family and enjoying the outdoors.
I have been experimenting with organic seeds, and fertilizer to produce better, healthier vegetables that are better all around for my family and canning. I am also collecting my seeds from plants and vegetables to use for the next spring planting, I am teaching my children how to collect the seeds at the end of the season and how we use them to grow plants the following year and continue the growing cycle. So once again I say bring on the spring so we can get going with the 2010 season.
Thanks for reading and check back often for more on this.
