Snow is on the weather channels all over the midwest, weather men predicting accumulations of 6 to 14 inches in areas covering 4 states. December blizzard is here to drop snow on all the hot ski resorts and cover the drives and cars in its path. Seems as if old man winter is setting people up for the white Christmas early this year. With the arctic snow crippling the nation , it means more school closings, more business closings. People stuck at home, maybe some without heat or power.
With Christmas just a few weeks out, snow gets people in the Christmas spirit. Snow blowers will be working overtime, snow plows will be clearing roads and some of us will be braving the weather to buy presents and other household items for the big day.
Should you be one of those who brave the weather, just take care and drive safely. Make sure you take your time when traveling and have extra safety equipment in your car. Maybe carry a extra snow shovel in the trunk and some de-icer for the windshield, take extra clothes or jacket in case you get stuck out in the storm and have to walk. Snow can be fun and also hazardous, just use your head and stay alert. Blizzards are not anything to mess with, if you dont have to go out in it or go anywhere I say stay home. When these storms cause a complete whiteout at night on the highways this is when trouble starts, blowing winds build drifts across the roads and visibility drops down to less then a block and snow covers the roads up. If you do have to go out , try and do things during the day and not at night as the temperatures are a little higher during the day. Wear all the clothing protection you can so you wont get frostbite if you have to walk. Blizzards and snow storms are nothing to mess with, be safe and have a great Christmas Holiday.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Gaming Online
With Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 going live in November, the game has been played all day and night with many of us losing sleep. The weapons and multiplayer online playing is such a adrenaline rush that some of the players continue fighting online even in to the early morning, still trying to get the kill ratio up or the win streak better then their friends. Your running and gunning just like the real thing, well maybe not as bad as a modern day war. It gets you rushing rooms and snipers are trying to take your head off. Some sneak around while others are running around with guns smoking the rounds out. It really don't matter how you play just as long as your having fun.
Close combat, like the map High Rise is fast and furious with everyone running around in a frenzy. Some are trying to get into great sniping spots, so they can try an dominate from the hiding spots from above. With so many choice's of gun's and flash bangs and claymores the air is filled with multiple sounds of various guns and explosion's. Then like in the real world you hear a harrier jet from above fly in dropping bombs. Then the last one comes in hovering above taking out the your team as they try to make there way to the other teams side to kill.
Your just a few kills away from taking the win and maybe even leveling or getting the new promotion to General, you pop up from hiding and stare right into the face of the enemy, the gun flashes and you get to respawn again. Some run right back to where they died just to get revenge for the death they just had. Many are hardcore campers also know as sitting in one spot waiting for a kill to come to them. Some have favorite hiding spots, while others just have fun running around the map. I have a few weapons of choice, I use the Aug Hbar light machine gun with a grip and acog scope. I just like the fire rate and it seems better for me, just experiment on other guns to find one that fits your style. Of course many of the players use the Intervention sniper rifle or the Scar-H assault rifle.
This is a great game, keeps on getting my attention instead of the TV or the yard. Some of you probably are the same as myself putting off other things so you can play Call of Duty MW2. I have been playing first person shooter games since 1991, and now both of my sons are playing as well. I have also made a website for my friends and anyone else who would like to be part of it. If you want just follow the link after my name at the bottom, the website is coming along pretty good, have forums page and video links and soon to come will be screenshots.

Retail Crazy People
First off I work for a large retail store, and everyday is something new. There never seems to be a day identical to another one. Customers are there to buy something and well sometimes they get upset if you don't have what they want. I try my best to make their shopping a little easier then going to the competition, I walk them to the product unless they tell me they are fine on there own. I then thank them and let them go on there way.
But now to the crazy few people, you know who you are. Their spouse sends them in to get something and they don't want to be there or they are upset because yesterday we sold the last item that was on sale and now we are out of it. So instead of thanking me for the help, they go crazy cursing me, asking for a manager, and insisting I check in the back of our warehouse for more inventory.
The more you try to help the worse it get's, and yet we still keep on helping the best we can to make the bad situation get better, trying to calm the disappointed customer down. Even though we didn't send you to the store or tell you to come in after the advertisement on the $79.00 light set now on sale for $29.00 has expired 2 days ago.
Sometimes we at the store blame it on the full moon or the other person who sent you, its not your fault your mad, they should have came in and got the stuff not you. So when your out shopping , whether somebody else sent you or you just wanted to get the last good deal, be patient around people who are really trying to help you, now granted there are a few of us out there who don't care at all, this would be our competition I hope, and not some of my co-workers. Besides who wants all the bad Karma that comes from negativity, I just want to do my job to the best of my ability, you don't have to like me at all, but just let me help you find what your looking for and be happy, not a crazy person like the ones I mentioned. I hope you have a better shopping experience every time you go somewhere now and thanks for taking a moment to read this. This was not created to offend others, just saying there are some funny people in the world we live in.

Twilight Is Taking The Holiday Season Like A Storm !
With all the followers , some calling themselves Twi's who knew this movie would be so well made it would blow the sales through the roof. Twilight Saga: New Moon had one of the best fall movie opening's ever with over $142 million in sales, also this movie did more sales on its opening weekend then any other movie this year. After the movie release the Twilight sales not only hit the roof , but the add on sales also did.
Now right before the Christmas rush the fans are all looking for clothing, jewelry, Twilight barbie dolls, poster's and anything to do with the star's of the movie. I know for a fact that my wife has all the books out for Twilight, and is looking for the older movie series right now. With all this publicity of such a great movie its gonna be pretty hard to get your hands on anything come time that the big guy in his red suit shows up on that one night of December 25.
When and if they make another movie , what is the content in it gonna be ? Or is it gonna be based off of the book series, maybe they will surprise us with a whole new line of characters. In the end if its anything like what they did this year then it will for sure keep the attention of all the Twi's longing to be just like the people in the movie, great job is what I'm going to leave this at for now.

The art of car auctions, or is it really art ?
I grew up around cars and a father who was a general manager for a car dealership, I think I was learning to buy and sell at a very young age. We would get up early on a Saturday and drive for a couple of hours to a known auto auction that most of the dealers would buy or sell there cars.
I still remember dad saying listen to the engine, do you hear the slight rattle when I rev it up a little? Probably means the main bearing is getting bad, or he would teach me how the sound from behind the car from the exhaust was a dead give away if the engine was not firing right. It was training for sure, learning to find the right car that would sell and make a small profit or large profit if you bought it cheap enough. As I got older I would be the one starting the vehicles and running the transmission into drive and reverse to see if there was anything wrong with the transmission, did it slip or does it go into gear just right. I looked for cars that sounded good, went into gear good, or maybe needed a little paint.
Point is you want a car that should be reliable and something that don't take much to get it looking good and cleans up well. So with that said, if and when you go to the car auctions look under the car see if it is leaking oil, or fluids of any kind.Start it up and see what it sounds like, does it smoke or make any weird noises? What about the lights do they all work, and do the brakes work. All of these things are something that needs to be checked before you even begin to bid on it, get to the auction early so you can walk around an take your time to see what cars are the best and if they have any problems.
I have been going to auctions for twenty years or more now and they really haven't changed much. The cars are newer and now have computer controls, but they still are cars and they still basically have the same problems as before. There are online auctions also now, just ask the same questions to the people selling online and is there a 30 day guarantee or something like that if your buying online. Just taking precautionary steps will help in you making the right decision, in any auto auction look before you buy.
